Well, in a GAME of course! Anyways this demo is amazing, and I'm so excited for more, though take your time! I don't want to be the culprit of you not making your game as good as you wanted, aha!
Anyhow, LOVED it. The suspense, tiny glances, variety of options. It's so obvious he's stalking you, with how he knows your name, yet I also love how at the same time you can brush off his remarks easily like "Hey, maybe he's just guessing my name is better".
Having more than two choices at the game, that DON'T immediately mean you're dead, makes this is so fun! Again, Devyn's wavy hair and pretty eyes really strike me dead... 😭💕
From what I've seen in this game genre is that usually it's fairly easy to read the yandere characters. There are cues, subtle expression changes, other character interactions that can set off alarm bells. But with Devyn I'm drawing a blank - maybe it's just judgement clouded by compassion, but I really can't read his intentions and can't figure out if he is lying or not. It definitely adds to the horror element, cuz there are major red flags, but the urgency of the situation and the contradicting facts really make it a unique experience. This game stands apart from the other yandere games in it's original approach in presenting the "possible" antagonist as the victim, but the plot itself is intriguing and this scenario is so suspenseful.
Best of luck with the development - I'd love to see this project to the end!

This demo is very intriguing and I look forward to the full game! It kept making me rethink my theories and I love that in a game. Devyn"s expressions and art is great!

It's not very often I come across a visual novel that has us play as the 3rd person of a yandere situation. It's interesting watching the interaction between the player character as well as Devyn, and it had me second guessing a lot of what's going on.
Man you don't know how much I wanted to give Devyn a literal oscar for his 10/10 acting. I'm fairly sure he hurt himself to get MC's attention (or maybe I'm wrong, who knows!), but either way, it would definitely be hard to ignore him in that state. Honestly, I find myself getting taken over by Devyn. Who doesn't love a seemingly sweet, socially awkward guy, you know? To top it off, he's REALLY pretty too, can you really say no to him??
I'm definitely insterested in seeing what he'll do when he gets to our house. I really do want to know more about Devyn and what kind of stunts he'll pull off, so I'll be wishing you the best with the development!
I also got myself some green, orange, and purple hearts. After reading through the log, I'd have to say, it's actually pretty accurate LMAO the hearts concept is super creative tho!
This game really played with my feelings... On the one hand, Devyn is introduced as a sweet, but timid person who seriously needs help, so I can't help but want to help him and keep him safe... but at the same time, he displays some very subtle strange behaviour such as telling me that I have a wonderful name despite not knowing it yet. I have some suspicions about the real reason why he ended up bleeding on the grass, perfectly coinciding with the MC's late-night trip to buy milk...
But honestly, what I really like about this demo is that everything seems open to interpretation! Is Devyn's timid and overly sweet personality a ploy to lure the MC into a false sense of security, or is it because he's just smitten with them? Did he really end up bleeding out on the street because of a stalker, or was he just making that up so that you would be convinced to let him stay in your house? It doesn't help that he refuses to go to either the police or a hospital. Was he really stabbed, or were the wounds self-inflicted? Part of me thinks that the blood might not actually have been his, since we never actually get to see the stab wounds... But this is all just rambly speculation!
Other than that, I love the art for this game, and the overall atmosphere created by the music! It really made me feel like a person walking alone late at night, just trying to make my way home. Like someone really was watching me.
I can't wait to see how the night unfolds! It'll be very interesting indeed...

very good demo!! the hearts i got were green, blue and purple ^^ if i had no knowledge that this was a horror game, i would've thought of devyn as a little suspicious, but u can't help but want to help him out!! keep up the good work, and ill be looking forward to the full release!
I really enjoyed this demo. Dyven is very well written, he draws you in even though you know it can't end well. The art is beautiful and the environments are haunting. The game does an amazing job at balancing your emotions both keeping you on your toes and making you uncomfortable and putting you at ease. I would really recommend checking it out and I look forward to the full release. Thank you to the creator for sharing 😊
